Next meeting: Oct 31th, in room 322
We're a group of coders at Chicopee Comprehensive High School interested in building with technology, whether that be software(programming) or hardware (3D printing, building computers). In other words, we do a lot of hacking. We also happen to be a chapter of the international non-profit Hack Club.
Anybody can! No matter what your experience, you can come around at the above specified time and just hang around and have fun! We make sure that everybody new to hacking gets a fun introduction to it.
During a meeting, people will collab or work on their own to build something or make progress towards building something cool. Towards the end of the meeting, everyone will demo and show off their creations! It's intended to be super chill.
You will also find these links useful when getting started:
Hack Club is basically "a nonprofit network of high school coding clubs and makers around the world". For more information, check their website!
This website was created using just HTML, CSS, and JS, so everybody can make a quick contribution to it if they want. What's the shape - it's super cool, right? It's a fractal. More specifically, it's a Julia Set. For more info, check this out.
All the code for this website is located on GitHub (basic explanation - a tool for storing and collaborating on code). We deployed it to the Internet using GitHub Pages.
